John Woodburn "Woody" Lambe
(passed away in Toronto at age 70
on Fri. Jan. 30, 2009)

Baritone
Choir Member (2002-2003)

Woody portrayed Governor John Graves Simcoe
during London's year-long "London 200" celebration in 1993.
It was the 200th anniversary of Simcoe's first visit to the forks
of the Thames River and the site of London in 1793.
Woody was hired by the London 200 Committee to portray Governor Simcoe
and he made more than 150 official appearances throughout the city.
Woody's dress, bearing and sparkling wit ideally suited his role as
Governor Simcoe and endeared himself to many Londoners in the process.

Music expresses that which cannot be said
and on which it is impossible to be silent.

Victor Hugo

Richard Negus was a wonderfully versatile musician
& friend who was much loved and respected.
He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him.

Eileen Emery
(1927 - 2008)

Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And until we meet again.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Marilyn Parsons
(1951 - 2007)
Soprano

An enduring cancer patient (Never a victim!) with a remarkable sense
of self died at home on Monday, May 14, 2007, just one day after
celebrating Mother's Day with her family. Marilyn Louise (Hodder) Parsons
at the age of 56 years, lived with metastatic breast cancer for eight years,
through chemotherapy and radiation. Throughout, she insisted on the patient's
right to know and choose. Through sheer determination and guts, she managed
to live a magical life for eight years, which upheld her personal philosophy that

each person must take charge of their own life and that living well is the best revenge.

In Remembrance of our dear friend
FRANCES BRENNAN-McBRIDE

Soprano

We dedicate our 2nd CD
"Christmas Remembered"
to Frances

More than words can tell…
There’s another Angel in the Heavens tonight,
Testing her wings, sure to take flight,
For she knows how she’s left us, behind here on Earth,
After suffering too long, before her rebirth
As a Guardian Angel, for all that she loved,
As a colour of the Rainbow in the Heavens above…

Although she’s gone, we’ll never be alone,
She’ll always be with us, her journey’s not done,
She’ll always be with us, in spirit to guide us,
She’ll always be with us, a fair wind beside us,
She’ll always be with us,
Like the welcoming lantern in the window at home…
