Director of the Canadian Celtic Choir until March 30, 2010 is John F.M. Wood
We thank John Wood for
being a wonderful interim leader of our choir and look forward to
our next chapter with our new director Bill Zadorsky beginning in
April 2010.
Our new Director as of April 1, 2010 is William "Bill" Zadorsky
Bill Zadorsky taught choral music at Catholic Central High School . He was with the London District Catholic School Board for the past 30 years. He taught vocal and string music in the elementary panel (1975-81), worked as Music Co-ordinator in service to teachers (1981-87), and taught choral and string music at St. Mary Choir and Orchestra School (1987-98). In addition, Mr. Zadorsky played violin with Orchestra London from 1975-81. Currently, Mr. Zadorsky conducts the Holy Familty Traditional Church Choir and teaches private violin lessons at the Zadorsky Academy of Music. A trophy bearing Mr. Zadorsky's name is presented annually at the London & Region Kiwanis Festival. This trophy was first presented at the festival in 2005.
